National Sales Manager,

Animal Health Team
I started my professional life as a PE teacher and after being approached by Johnson & Johnson I moved in to a Trainee Sales Manager role, looking after the hernia business in the South West. I moved to London in 2016 to support a number of hospitals in Central London, including the Royal Marsden and Chelsea & Westminster, assisting with their cancer services. I had the honour of moving in to the Animal Health team in 2018, where I have made a number of good friends and tried to provide the best service possible. I was asked to lead the business earlier this year, which I am thoroughly enjoying. We have a complete portfolio, catering to all needs across the market, in particular our suture and trauma platforms. We are always looking at innovative ways to support our customers and will do our very best to ensure the service is at the very top of the industry.
I was born and raised in Cardiff and have a keen interest in all sports, mainly football, rugby and golf. I support Liverpool, who are going through a really fruitful period at the moment. I have a gorgeous little dog called Charlie, who I love dearly and is very excited to come out to vet practices with me.
I love my job with the Animal Health team and I’m very lucky to get to meet such lovely people on a day to day basis.

Having worked in the J&J Animal Health team for 5 years previously, I moved back to J&J in May 2020. I know, perfect timing for the start of the lockdown!
We are very privileged in the Animal Health team to have access to the entire J&J portfolio, which means that we can offer our veterinary customers cutting edge surgical products, that make a significant difference to patient outcomes. For example, Plus sutures that are clinically proven to reduce the incidence of SSI’s (surgical site infections), by up to 30%. Ethicon stapling and Energy devices, Dermabond skin adhesives, the Surgicel family of Haemostats, the entire DePuy Synthes trauma portfolio, plus access to new and exciting pipeline products, such as Neuwave microwave ablation technology.
I live in a small market town, just East of York and I am passionate about travelling, sport in all sorts of guises, motorcycling and good food.
Having returned to J&J, I must say it has been like “coming home”. There is a real family feel to such a huge corporate organisation, and it is my keen desire to display that in all of our dealings with our veterinary customers. Thus ensuring, that we not only provide access to all of these incredible surgical innovations, but, also provide quality education in their safe use, all the while having fun along the way.

I am delighted to have had the opportunity to re-join the Ethicon Animal Health Team at the end of 2020. Since re-joining Ethicon, I very much see my role not just as a “sales person” but as “an advisor,” therefore advising about new concepts and technologies to help you achieve the best clinical outcomes for your veterinary patients.
Professional Education has always been very close to my heart and will form part of my new role within the Animal Health Team. Having undertaken my own training in both Wound Closure and Energy recently, it has made me really appreciate the many solutions that our product portfolio offers and the value that these bring to our patients. I’m really looking forward to working with everyone again, sharing these latest technologies and being able to offer training support where required.
I live in a small town outside of Bath with my Husband and Daughter, where we are surrounded by animals. My true passion is horse riding and although I no longer compete, I long for the warmer days when my Daughter and I can ride out together and take in the beautiful countryside. As a family we especially like travelling to the Dorset or Devon coast line for weekend dog walks and good pub food.

I joined Depuy Synthes (formally DePuy) in 2009 as a placement student within the EMEA Professional Education team and have never looked back! Whilst in my final year of university I was offered a Trainee Sales position which saw me relocate to London for the year once I had completed my dissertation.
Over the following years I gained the title of Senior Sales Specialist and moved between the Shoulder and Trauma division; at one point being responsible for the Trauma, Mitek, Shoulder, CMF and (loosely) Power Tool portfolios. I will always have a passion for Trauma so to be able to apply and then expand on my previous knowledge within the Animal Health Team has been a perfect placement for me; especially as a huge animal lover.
I live in Leeds with my husband, 1 year old son and cat. I’m a big live music fan and regularly attend gigs and festivals – a passion I cannot wait to share with my little one. As a family we love to travel, eat and definitely live for the moment.
